Particle pollution (also called particulate matter or PM) is the term for a mixture of solid particles and liquid droplets found in the air. Cities and workplaces are increasingly becoming pollutant due to rampant construction and vehicular movement. High levels of dust, especially PM2.5, in outdoor air prompt residents to keep windows shut in an attempt to prevent air pollutants from entering houses. Instances of sick building syndrome are increasingly being reported from our cities particularly in schools, colleges, and large work zones. Elements coming into your home from the outside can be dangerous to your health.
ENDEE is introducing an indigenous instrument for measuring air quality, with a capability to simultaneously monitor and record concentrations of PM2.5, PM10. The fine dust PM2.5 and PM10 will be determined by a build in air pollution monitor. A built-in sequential sampler is able to collect fine dust PM2.5 or PM10 for gravimetric evaluation. Its data logging and computer interface features can be used for further detailed analysis. A built-in data-logger reports Live Data on a graphics LCD besides recording values in SD card memory.
Typical applications include Industrial Hygiene, Facility Management, Checking Ambient Air Quality, and Surveys in Clinics, Hospitals, and Schools.
